Patrick is currently a Legal Practitioner Director and has has over 9 years experience working across a variety of practise areas and was integral in the commencement of the firm’s Sydney and Melbourne practises.
Patrick is truly a general practitioner in that he practises at a high level across many service areas and as such he has grown an expansive client base across Australia.
He often advises large corporate clients and ASX listed entities on various aspects of commercial and corporate legal areas, including corporate governance. He acts for many financiers in drafting, advising and negotiating complex financial transactions. He has demonstrated his commercial and efficient approach when acting for parties in successful mergers and acquisition transactions.
He also practises in the area of commercial litigation and has regularly appeared in state and federal courts as well as tribunals. Patrick has also worked closely in the firm’s insolvency practise area where he has acted for liquidators, receivers and managers, administrators, creditors and directors on many occasions.
He provides advice on commercial property matters–including leases, property disputes and the sale and purchase of land—as well as on the sale and purchase of business, various financial agreements including loan documents, guarantees and other various securities.
Patrick is truly committed to taking law out of the past and into the present, he does this by working hard to understand his clients and their legal requirements and strives to provide commercial, effective and transparent legal solutions.
Patrick is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, he has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the Queensland University of Technology and he is a member of The Executive Connection.
Outside of the law, Patrick loves all things sports having played rugby, cricket, tennis and AFL and these days, he is a very keen golfer. Patrick also likes music and has a love of nice wine and exciting food.
