A little bit about JHK
JHK Legal is an innovative Australian incorporated legal practice that is looking to redefine the public’s perception of a law firm by offering an approachable, expedient and economically transparent legal service to the whole of Australia. Events
JHK regularly host events and networking functions both internally (for staff only), and externally (including clients & referrers). Building and protecting our firm culture is as important to us strengthening our relationships with our clients. Some of our signature yearly events include wine tastings, sponsoring golf days, Melbourne Cup functions, attending various sporting/charity events and tables and of course our team Christmas Party.
Health and Wellbeing
Monitoring and preserving the health and wellbeing of our team members is vitally important to us at JHK Legal. We have dedicated mental health officers as well as a mentoring program, and our team members are encouraged to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Flexible work practices
At JHK, we have a mix of full-time, part-time, contract and casual staff. Our team members also have the option of incorporating work-from-home days into their schedule. We acknowledge that everyone has different life commitments and we do our best to be accommodating of each of our team members’ circumstances.
Mentoring
We aim to give all staff members a platform to share with us their goals and ambitions as well as their struggles and ideas for change. We have a dedicated mentor program so that each of our staff has the opportunity to contribute to the way our team works together.
Professional Development and Student leave
We regularly look for opportunities to educate our students and solicitors alike by inviting guest speakers and industry leaders in to address our team. We also provide flexibility for students still studying so that they can build on their skills and experience while maintaining their study schedule.
