About Christa

Christa Gunaratnam is currently an Associate at JHK Legal and has over 3 years’ experience working in a litigation.

Throughout their career she has assisted various clients with high volume debt recovery and insurance claims.

Christa has worked with clients ranging from insurers to hire car companies.

Christa is excellent at conflict resolution stemming from her experience in Settlement Conferences and Mediations. She always aims to provide her clients with commercially pragmatic advice while also achieving positive results for her clients.

Christa has practiced in all Australian jurisdictions and currently holds a practicing certificate in Queensland.  

• Bachelor of Science (Double Major in Medical Science and Environmental Science) from Western University
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Bond University
• Graduate Diploma in Legal Training

Outside of the law Christa enjoys attending live music gigs, writing music, going to the beach and enjoying all things Queensland has to offer.
